Wool

We love wool! And we do that because it's amazing at keeping you warm in the cold winter months. However, there is a big difference between wool and its appearance depending on which sheep breed it comes from and how it is processed. However, you can read more about each product's specifications and characteristics as soon as you click on the product you want to know more about.

On this page, you will find both yarn skeins made of 100% wool, but also combinations such as alpaca, cotton and wool. And you can be sure to be able to explore your creative abilities because with wool you can knit, crochet and felt. So, it is only the imagination that is the limit for what you can create with the right wool combination in the shopping cart.

Why wool is an amazing material

There are many advantages to knitting or crochet in wool, among other things because it is a natural fibre that is heat regulating and can absorb up to 35% moisture without feeling cold or wet. You can even buy wool on this page, that is neither scratchy nor uncomfortable to wear — did you know that? So, there are many opportunities and future knitting projects to start with if you choose to buy the right wool yarn from us.

When knitting or crochet with wool, as with so many other types of yarn, it is important that you also have the right needles and knitting accessories, so that your end result is as good as possible. When you click on the product you are considering buying, we give you our recommendations on what size needles you need to buy. You'll find them all here.

Keep in mind

When choosing to knit garments in wool, it is incredibly important that you pay special attention to how you wash the end result. Wool is actually a very sensitive material because it is 100% natural fibre. It can easily change its structure or shape if it is not washed properly and make sure to have it dry lying down on an even surface. Fortunately, you can read about the specific product's washing instructions on this page, when you click on the different kinds of yarn. Then there will be no doubt how it should be washed. If, however, you are only looking for yarn materials that can be washed in the machine we have dedicated a whole page to only this type of yarn.

Safe and secure delivery

When you shop yarn with us, you can always be absolutely sure that you will have a safe buying experience where you can choose to have the items delivered directly to your door. You don't have to go out and visit your local yarn shop because now you can do it all from home with the same good feeling where we are always available to give a helping hand if you have any questions about either our range or the terms of payment and delivery. Don't hesitate to contact our customer service if you have any questions at all.
